BCSGA ‘Turn it in week’ a success

Nova Harvest employees help to remove about 2 metric tonnes of Styrofoam and a 40-yard bin of other discarded materials from the ocean during ‘Turn it in week’ hosted by the British Columbia Shellfish Growers Association, with financial support from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans – Canada.

 

Nova Harvest President, J.P. Hastey, served as the local contact for the Barkley Sound area, facilitating the removal of shellfish aquaculture related debris from various local shellfish producers and tenures.
